The GeoSpatial Data Integration Portal is your gateway to spatial locations of the New Zealand significant database biological collections, including World locations.

Integrated with numerous other layers, it provides a contextually rich graphical environment which can be built to view specimen location data and metadata for most of the features on each layer.

Note: We are experiencing some instability with the GISPortal and are looking into the problem. We appreciate your patience and hope to solve issues swiftly. The catalogue page may give an error message or there may be some layers missing from time to time as we work through the problem. Once we have sorted things out any missing layers will be enabled again.
