GeoSpatial Data Integration Portal

The GeoSpatial Data Integration Portal is your gateway to spatial locations of the New Zealand significant database biological collections, including World locations.

Integrated with numerous other layers, it provides a contextually rich graphical environment which can be built to view specimen location data and metadata for most of the features on each layer.

Coming soon: Landcare Research is working on a replacement for our current GISPortal. It will be first seen with the release of S-map online in the winter of 2011, which will provide map-based query access to our soils data. The new GIS Portal will follow soon after. The existing protal will remain in service alongside the new one while we migrate data. In the meantime you may experience slow responses on the existing service. We appreciate your patience as we move to our new platform.
